The Stallions

It's indisputable that top quality in a stallion is absolutely essential to a sound breeding program.

Maybe we did it rather unorthodoxly, but M&MS Farms' very first (and at that time only) miniature horse was a suckling colt - the first son of Little King's Bay Banner, the first mini we came to know and love while he was at the farm where our Morgan colt was born. Westwind's Numero Uno of Banner ("Little Banner") died in Sue's arms at 7 months of age, the victim of adhesions from his three colic surgeries. So...we had a tough start, and when Little Banner's only full brother was born some five months later, Bold Image was predestined to be our great love and our senior stallion.

Bold Image was named for his sire and for the little brother we lost - an "image" of both of them. He has his brother's eyes, and looks and acts a lot like his daddy, even down to their "smile". The "bold" he added himself. Although he bonded immediately and slept in Sue's lap the afternoon he was born, by the next morning, he had devised a game. Whenever people came by his stall, he'd rear and strike, walking on his hind legs. And the more we laughed at the little tyke, the more he'd play his little game. Bold Image he is!

Westwind's In Banner's Bold Image
Little King's Bay Banner (by Komokos Little King Supreme) X BJ's Jaxson Mash

Foaled on 5-28-90, Bold Image is the 33.75" beloved senior stallion of M&MS Farms. He is a multichampion halter and multichampion driving stallion who took an AMHA National Top 16, in 1994, in a huge amateur driving class. His greatest talent, however, is "in the breeding shed". He is the sire, grandsire, and greatgrandsire of AMHA Regional and National Champions and Top Ten horses!!!

His get include: Multi National Champion, National Top Ten, Regional Grand Champion, Futurity Champion, and Grand Champion mare MMS Dream Come True, who will always remain with us at M&MS Farms; National Reserve Grand Champion junior gelding Little r's Bold Illusion, who was still inutero when Doni Rasmussen of Salt Lake City, Utah, purchased his dam; Grand Champion and Futurity Champion mare MMS Dazzlin Bit of Imagination, who has the most loving home with Carolyn Walden in Calhoun, Louisiana; Reserve Grand Champion and Futurity Champion junior and senior mare MMS Ms Image Kandu, who is beloved by Cindy Lewis, her family and customers in New Era, Michigan; Regional Top Ten and Multi Champion halter and driving horse MMS Patches' Bold Enchantor, who is one of M&MS Farms' premier stallions; Reserve Grand Champion MMS Absolutely Bold Image, who is 4H titled and lives with Sue and Shawn McGrain in Fostoria, Ohio; Champion junior stallion MMS Serena Bold Encore, who is beloved by Ginny Wolfe of Carleton, Michigan; Champion junior stallion MMS Imagine That, who was purchased with his dam by Kris and Scott Pastolic of Wooster, Ohio; MMS Mirror Image, who is producing fabulous foals now for Rich Nykamp of Holland, Michigan; MMS Patches' Image Pizzazz, who's driving and spoiled just right by Cindy Ramsey of Okemos, Michigan; and Champion Yearling Mare 30"-32" MMS Bold Escapade, one of M&MS Farms' very best broodmares.

Bold Image's grand get and greatgrand get are every bit as awesome! They include MMS Adonis Dream On (now living with Cindy Collins in Manton, California) who, as a yearling, earned National Honor Roll status in Multi Color Mares and National Top Tens in Amateur Junior Mares and Multi Color Mares; as a two year old, earned Reserve Champion Multi Color Mare and Reserve Champion Amateur Junior Mare at the AMHA Eastern Regionals; and as a 3 year old competed at the AMHA Nationals in halter, color, Country Pleasure Driving Mares and Country Pleasure Driving 32" & Under; MMS Enchantor's Mischief Maker (one of M&MS Farms' premier stallions) who went Reserve Grand Champion Junior Stallion as a weanling at his very first show, took top honors in Yearling Stallions 28" & Under and in Solid Color Stallions as a yearling, earned AMHA Eastern Regional Top Tens in his halter and color classes and then came back from the 2003 AMHA Nationals with a Top Ten in 2 Year Old Stallions 29" & Under; MMS Miracle's Enchantress (one of M&MS Farms' very best broodmares) who, as a yearling, took the blues in Amateur Junior Mares and Yearling Mares 28"-30"; Futurity Yearling Stallion Champion MMS Banner Be Bold (who was purchased and shown by Sabrina Woodruff of Haslett, Michigan); Futurity Yearling Mare MMS Pocketful of Miracles (now driving, competing in 4H, and beloved by Rich Nykamp of Holland, Michigan); MMS In Komo's Wildest Dreams (now winning bigtime in open pleasure, roadster, and liberty and adored by Christina Terpenning of Ridgefield, Washington) and MMS Echo's Spirit Alibi (now beloved by Vicky and Heather Redmond of Blue Star Miniatures in Estacada, Oregon); MMS Kandu's Enchanted Odyssey (now spolied just right and shown by Phyllis Goldschnikl of Crystal Lake, Illinois); MMS Serena's Enchanted Finale (now with Rene Gunderson of Nampa, Idaho); MMS Mister Enchantment (now loved by Cindy Ramsey of Okemos, Michigan); and MMS Dream Komotion (another of M&MS Farms' premier stallions) who holds many titles, including: Futurity 2 Year Old Stallion Champion, 2003 AMHA Eastern Regional Top Ten Amateur Junior Stallion and Multi-Color Stallion, and 2004 AMHA Western Regional Champion 32" & Under Pleasure Driving horse. Bold Image's grandson Komotion also garnered 2004 and 2005 AMHA Regional Top Tens in Gentlemen's Pleasure Driving, Pleasure Driving Stallions, Amateur Pleasure Driving, Amateur Senior Stallions, Ladies' Pleasure Driving, and Liberty.

Bold Image reached a milestone in his life in 2005, when he became either the sire, the grandsire, or the greatgrand sire of every horse foal born at M&MS Farms. Thank you, Image! We adore Believer (selected by Bill Winfield of Weatherford, Texas), Surprise, Magic (beloved by Dr. Bonnie Searles of Sheridan, Michigan), Sonserra, Fable, Shiloh (now with Michelle Measel-Morris of St. Clair, Michigan), Imagine, Fire, and Charming (now with Laura Yeo of Woodland, Washington).

These colts and fillies are available for purchase.

You do great work, my Image!! And I adore you!!!

Fallen Ash Farm's Blue Sovereign
Flying W Farm's Blue Dynasty (by Flying W Farm's Little Blue Boy) X Pate's Sunset

Blue Sovereign distinguished himself in the showring, winning multiple halter grand championships and several highly competitive driving classes, easily qualifying for the AMHA 1994 Nationals in both, before we retired him to stud. He stands 30.25" and was foaled on 5-24-91. But his greatest talent yet is "in the breeding shed". Blue Sovereign is the sire of Regional Top Ten horses.

Blue Sovereign's get include: Grand Champion and Futurity Reserve Champion junior stallion MMS Sovereign's Heir Apparent, shown to Pinto circuit national titles by Mary Olrich; MMS Sovereign's Free Spirit, purchased along with her foal MMS Imagine That by Kris and Scott Pastolic of Wooster, Ohio; MMS Patches' SirPrize (now deceased), who will always be beloved by Ginny Wolfe of Carleton, Michigan; Grand Champion senior mare MMS Dazzle's Reigning Miracle, one of M&MS Farms' fabulous broodmares; Champion Junior Gelding MMS Sovereign's Silver Streak, a driving delight; Amateur Supreme Halter Horse MMS Sovereign's Three Wishes, beloved by Carolyn Pope of New Castle, Indiana; the magnificent gelding MMS Sovereign's Silver Legacy; Futurity Reserve Champion Yearling Mare and AMHA Eastern Regionals Top Ten (halter and color) mare MMS Whisper Blue Wishes, beloved by Agnetta Berwall of Simplicity Miniatures in Eskiltuna, Sweden; Futurity Reserve Champion Yearling Stallion MMS As You Wish, one of M&MS Farms' premier stallions; MMS Cloud Dancer, selected by Debbie Wiggins of Lumberton, Texas and now with Cookie McKee; MMS Essense Reigns On, one of Marilyn Erb's very favorite mares at Fun In The Sun Miniatures in Lakeside, California; MMS True Believer, selected by Bill Winfield of Weatherford, Texas as his herd sire; MMS Once In A Blue Moon, now doted on by Elizabeth Hill of Fowlerville, Michigan; MMS Abracadabra, now with Judy and Reuel Long of Ryka Miniatures in Ann Arbor, Michigan; MMS Fire And Ice, who's available for purchase; and Princess Hart Throb, beloved by Gene and Gloria Schneider and Hunter Hart of Williamston and Leslie, Michigan.

Blue Sovereign's grand get and greatgrand get are fabulous, too. In fact, if MMS Keeper Of The Starz (also with the Longs at Ryka Miniatures), MMS Your Gallant Wish (now beloved by Beverly and Larry Peabody of Houghton Lake, Michigan), MMS Ayla Enchantress, MMS Mischief's Milagro, MMS Shenanigans Assured and MMS Alykazam are any indication at all of what the future holds, Blue Sovereign just keeps getting even better!! Ayla, Milagro, Sure Enough and Kazam are available for purchase.

Blue Sovereign sires pinto foals better than three quarters of the time, out of solid and pinto mares. And his pinto get nearly always have blue eyes!

MMS Patches' Bold Enchantor
Westwind's In Banner's Bold Image (by Little King's Bay Banner by Komokos Little King Supreme) X Feather Ridge's Patches (Feather Ridge's Smokey X Feather Ridge's Beauty)

Foaled on 4-9-95 and 33.25", Enchantor is talented, refined and accomplished. He holds multiple grand championships and regional top tens both in halter and in driving. And perhaps most importantly, he's siring Regional and National Top Ten horses! And well he should. It's in his blood!

Enchantor is an own son of M&MS Farm's marvelous senior stallion, Bold Image. His dam, Patches, is our multireserve grand champion halter and multichampion driving mare whose incredible talent earned her a 4th among all mares to drive at the 1990 AMHA Nationals. And Patches was only two years old at the time! Enchantor's full sister is the renowned MMS Dream Come True who accumulated eight AMHA national titles and National Honor Roll standings in just two years of limited showing.

Enchantor's get include: AMHA Eastern Regionals Top Ten Beginners Exhibiting Stallions and Geldings, multi-champion color stallion MMS Enchantor's Mystique (beloved by Bonni Sweezy of Leslie, Michigan); multi-champion yearling and junior amateur mare MMS Miracle's Enchantress (one of M&MS Farms' wonderful broodmares) ; MMS Kandu's Enchanted Odyssey (shown and loved by Phyllis Goldschnikl of Crystal Lake, Illinois); MMS Mister Enchantment (spoiled just right by Cindy Ramsey of Okemos, Michigan); Reserve Grand Champion Junior Stallion, AMHA multiple Eastern Regionals Top Ten (amateur, open and color) Stallion, and AMHA National Top Ten 29" & Under Two Year Old Stallion MMS Enchantor's Mischief Maker (one of M&MS Farms' premier stallions); Futurity Champion Yearling Mare MMS Pocketful of Miracles (now driving, showing 4H and beloved by Rich Nykamp, his family, and his 4H group in Holland, Michigan); MMS Enchantor's Galaxy Girl (loved dearly by Christina Terpenning of Ridgefield, Washington); MMS Charmed and Enchanted (beloved Laura Yeo of Woodland, Washington); and MMS Serena's Enchanted Finale (now with Rene Gunderson of Nampa, Idaho).

What Enchantor is siring is just exquisite! And his grand get are fabulous, too: MMS Keeper Of The Starz (now producing babies for Judy and Reuel Long of Ann Arbor, Michigan), MMS Sonserra Mischief, MMS Mischief's Fabled Wish, MMS Dream Maker, MMS Bewitched And Bedazzled, MMS Ayla Enchantress, MMS Shenanigans Assured, MMS Mischief's Milagro, MMS Mischief's Fortune Teller, and MMS Day Dream Mischief. They're truly awesome!!

M&MS Farms is retaining Sonserra and Fable. Dream Maker, Bewitched, Ayla, Sure Enough, Milagro, Fortune, and Day Dream are available for purchase.

Enchantor is an integral part of M&MS Farms' breeding program.

MMS Dream Komotion
Lute's Komo Dandy X MMS Dream Come True (Westwind's In Banner's Bold Image X Feather Ridge's Patches)

There's no doubt that this bay pinto stallion intends to fulfill the legacy he's inherited from his parents, seven time AMHA nationally titled Komo and eight time AMHA nationally titled Dreamer. Komotion is handsome, refined, smooth bodied, and has a trot to die for!

Komotion joined our showstring in 2003 to pin some big classes, including his Great Lakes Miniature Horse Club Futurity. He just loves to pose in those halter classes! And even better, he likes to prove his worth as a talented, highly competitive driving horse. In fact, Komotion moved in with Ray Zoercher of Wind Flight after the 2003 AMHA Nationals. He entered the ring in 2004 both with Sue and with Ray. And the judges liked him!

In limited showing, his first year in cart, our three year old began proving himself. Komotion qualified for the AMHA 2004 World Championship Show in his Amateur Senior Stallion halter class, in Gentlemen's Single Pleasure Driving, in 32" & Under Pleasure Driving, in Pleasure Driving Stallions, and in Amateur Pleasure Driving.

Again in 2005, under the direction of Lisa Barnes of Bar N S Ranch, Komotion qualified for the AMHA Worlds in his Amateur Senior Stallion halter class, in 32" & Under Pleasure Driving, in Pleasure Driving Stallions, in Amateur Pleasure Driving, and in Liberty.

What heart for one so young to be able to work so well in so many classes!

Komotion was born on 4-27-01. He measures 31.75". He's DNA Parentage Qualified. And he has all it takes to be the sire of champions.

Komotion's very first son, the incredible chestnut pinto colt MMS Como Va arrived in 2007 and is available for purchase, as are his 2008 daughters: MMS Komotion's Wishful Thinking (a chestnut and white pinto) and MMS Komotion's Precious Patches (a tiny bay). Como Va, Willow and Precious are so spectacular, we're looking forward to all of Komotion's new babies in 2009. What anticipation!

MMS Patches' Komo Reflection
Lute's Komo Dandy X Feather Ridge's Patches

This wonderful 29.5" chestnut pinto stallion is most likely homozygous. He, too, promises to take advantage of the legacy he inherited from his parents, seven time nationally titled Komo and our most beloved Patches, our first AMHA National Top Ten driving mare who's excelling as the dam, granddam, and great granddam of National Champions and National Top Ten horses.

Reflection is a true delight to be with. He's small enough to be a size reducer as a breeding stallion. He's gentle enough to be considered a prospective seeing eye horse as a potential gelding. He's truly multi talented!

Reflection was born on 5-1-02. He is DNA Parentage Qualified and he's AMHA Futurity Nominated.

Reflection will be covering his first mares in 2009. We can hardly wait to see what he'll sire!!

MMS Enchantor's Mischief Maker
MMS Patches' Bold Enchantor (Westwind's In Banner's Bold Image X Feather Ridge's Patches) X FAF Miss Silver Cricket

When he captured his 2003 AMHA National Top Ten in Two Year Old Stallions 29" & Under, Mischief took full advantage of his birthright and earned his rightful place, as the then most junior breeding stallion at M&MS Farms.

Mischief is an own son of our incredibly talented, personality plus Enchantor and Miss Silver Cricket (now deceased), a mare who selected Sue during an early "shopping expedition". He's a grandson of our senior stallion, Bold Image, and our most beloved, first nationally titled mare Patches.

Mischief was foaled on 4-24-01. He's just 28.75" tall, yet has phenomenal elegance, refinement, a beautiful head, great top line, super length of neck, and dynamic motion.

Mischief is a blue roan with personality, attitude, and a proven show record -- all of which we're hoping he'll continue passing on to his get, the first of whom, both daughters, arrived in 2005. MMS Sonserra Mischief, a black and white, and MMS Mischief's Fabled Wish, a bay roan, are nothing short of spectacular!! Sonserra and Fable are remaining at M&MS Farms.

Mischief's 2006, 2007 and 2008 get: the blue roan pinto colt MMS Dream Maker, the blue roan filly MMS Bewitched And Bedazzled, the blue roan colt MMS Mischief's Milagro, the black and white pinto filly MMS Mischief's Fortune Teller, and the black filly MMS Day Dream Mischief just keep getting better and better. These colts and fillies are available for purchase.

Mischief, especially with the September 2007 passing of his dam Miss Silver Cricket, has earned his right to remain an integral part of M&MS Farms' breeding program.

MMS As You Wish
FAF's Blue Sovereign (by FWF's Blue Dynasty by FWF's Little Blue Boy) X MMS Wish Upon A Dazzlin Star (Feather Ridge's Smokey X VVFs L'il Bit Of Dazzle)

As You Wish is now retired from the showring to be one of the breeding stallions here at M&MS Farms.

His very first foals arrived in 2006. And they exceeded our expectations. MMS Your Gallant Wish, a buckskin pinto colt now doted on by Beverly and Larry Peabody of Houghton Lake, Michigan, and MMS Ayla Enchantress, a silver dapple pinto filly, are both extraordinary; as are MMS Shenanigans Assured, his blue eyed, dark grey pinto colt of 2007 and MMS Alykazam, his silver dapple bay colt of 2008! Gallant, Ayla, Sure Enough, and Kazam have earned their "daddy" an important role in M&MS Farms' breeding program. Ayla, Sure Enough, and Kazam are available for purchase.

As You Wish was born prematurely on 6-25-02, adorable, refined, upheaded, and very colorful, with striking blue eyes. All the extra attention he had to have as a neonate certainly paid off, because he's a true joy and a true gentleman to breed with -- just what we've come to expect from that Blue Sovereign/Wishes cross!

As You Wish is 31.5". He's DNA Parentage Qualified.

STALLION SERVICE

All of M&MS Farms' stallions stand at stud by private treaty and are available to service quality outside mares. Please consider us in your plans for the future.

OTHER REFERENCE SIRES

As the old adage goes, you "breed the best to the best and hope for the best". That occasionally leads us to match one of our mares to an outside stallion. Here are those select individuals we have been fortunate to use over the years.

Fallen Ash Farm's Cricket's Image
Soat's L'il Cricket X FAF Silver Fire

Bred to our beloved Feather Ridge's Patches, this 30.75" solid black, AMHA National Top Ten stallion produced MMS Patches' Ultimate Image. Ultra is the final foal Cricket's Image sired in the United States before leaving for Australia. He's lovely; and he's talented in harness, too. He's loved now by Sue Westbrook of Gonzales, Louisiana. Ultra's sons MMS First Kiss and MMS Almost Ultra Magic are beloved by Dr. Bonnie Searles of Sheridan, Michigan. His daughter, MMS Ultimately Moriah, is with Norma Feutz of Fife Lake, Michigan. And his daughter, MMS Keeper Of The Starz, is now part of Ryka Miniatures in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ultra's other daughter, MMS Ultimate Destiny Calls will remain at M&MS Farms. We have to have our very own Cricket's Image granddaughter! Thank you, Debbie Grayson, for allowing us to use Cricket's Image.

Johnston's Starlight Ranger
Roan Ranger X Starlight II

This 30.5" AMHA National Reserve Grand Champion Roan Ranger son, crossed with our senior broodmare, Serena, produced MMS Starlight Starbright. Starlight is a Reserve Grand Champion Junior Mare, a Grand Champion Senior Mare and a Champion Country Pleasure Driving horse. She also holds AMHA Regional Top Tens in Amateur Country Pleasure Driving and Amateur Single Pleasure Driving. With Serena's retirement, we opted to retain Starlight for our breeding program. Thank you, Debbie Grayson, for allowing us to use Ranger.

Winners' Circle Adonis
Martin's Dealers Choice X Spice of Life Saffron

Adonis, of course, is the AMHA National Grand Champion Junior and Senior Stallion -- the only horse who has ever achieved that dual status. He stands 31.5". Bred to MMS Dream Come True, our eight time nationally titled driving horse, he produced AMHA National Futurity nominated MMS Adonis Dream On who, as a yearling, achieved two AMHA National Top Tens in Amateur Junior Mares and in Multi Color Mares, and made the 2001 AMHA National Honor Roll for Multi Color Mares. Dream On continued her success in the showring once again with Danielle Campofreda-Hill of Reece Family Miniatures and Sue Brook of M&MS Farms in 2002! She earned Reserve Regional Championships in Amateur Junior Mares and Multi Color Mares and a Top Ten in Two Year Old Mares 28"-30". In 2003, Dream On continued to place well in her halter and color classes, while beginning her driving career and qualifying for the AMHA Nationals, under the direction of Laura Tennill of Ten L Training Center. Dream On is now adored by Cindy Collins of Manton, California. Thank you, Barbara Norman, for allowing us to use Adonis and for enabling us to add two more of his daughters to our "collection": Winners' Circle Prima Donna (out of Boone's Little Star Light, dam of Winners' Circle Bucks In The Bank by Ima Boone's Little Buckeroo Too) and Winners' Circle Snowflake (out of Spice of Life Sassafrass, daughter of Boone's Little Buckeroo).

Lutes' Komo Dandy
Komoko's Chicko X Dandy's Little Lady

This 33.5" gentleman is a naturally high stepping, exceptionally versatile driving horse. He holds seven AMHA national titles in youth pleasure driving, roadster, youth roadster, viceroy and formal park. Our extraordinarily talented MMS Dream Come True delivered an exquisite Komo foal in 2001. MMS Dream Komotion is so exceptional (and high stepping) that Dreamer and Dreamer's dam Patches were both bred to Komo for foals in 2002. The results are MMS In Komo's Wildest Dreams (sure to be homozygous and now beloved by Christina Terpenning of Ridgefield, Washington) and MMS Patches' Komo Reflection (who's available for purchase)- - magnificent colts!! Thank you, Cammie Cavanaugh, for allowing us to use Komo.

TenL's Echo's Captive Spirit
Little King's Buck Echo (by Boone's Little Buckeroo) X Honey Acre's Honeysuckle Rose

Spirit, of course, is the AMHR National Champion and the AMHA Reserve National Champion 28" & Under Senior Stallion. Spirit holds six other AMHA National Top Ten titles as well. He's the son of Buck Echo by Buckeroo. National Championships are his legacy and his accomplishment. What's more, he passes his best qualities on to his get - - refinement, motion, a pretty head, and a great neck. MMS Almost An Angel presented us with a very dark black bay Spirit daughter, AMHA National Futurity Nominated MMS Echo's Spirit Alibi in 2003. Alibi is spectacular; and she's now beloved by Vicky and Heather Redmond of Blue Star Miniatures in Estacada, Oregon. Thank you, Laura Tennill, for allowing us to use Spirit.

MHRS Spittin Image
REHS Caper Kid X Iron Gate's Quick As A Wink

Spittin holds AMHA National Top Tens in both halter and pleasure driving. This 31.75" stallion is a (dapple brown) chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. He's a true gentleman with lots of heart. And he has the most marvelous disposition and an even, floating gait. Spittin was retrained in 2003 as a country pleasure driving horse to compete again at the AMHA Nationals. We liked this little man so well, we bred him to three of our best, high stepping mares for 2004 foals: Fallen Ash Farm's Miss Silver Cricket, VVF's Lil Bit of Dazzle, and our eight time AMHA nationally titled MMS Dream Come True. Unfortunately, Dazzle and Dreamer absorbed. But Cricket's Spittin son, MMS Kept It A Mystery is an elegant little guy! Mystery is now living with and being shown by Rene Gunderson of Nampa, Idaho. Thank you, Monica Leiby Millstead, for allowing us to lease Spittin.

Vermilyea Farm's Portrait of Blue
Flying W Farm's Showtime True Blue X Blue Ribbon Picturesque

This 29.75" grey, miniature Arabian is an AMHA National Champion Junior Stallion and an AMHA National Champion Senior Stallion. What an accomplishment!! And what proof of the legacy he inherited from Showtime, Picturesque, Blue Boy and Bond Picador! What's more, Portrait's temperment matches his beauty and conformation. He was bred to our beloved Feather Ridge's Patches for a 2004 foal, but Patches miscarried. We tried again for 2005, when MMS Miracle's Enchantress was also bred to Portrait. But both ladies absorbed. Thank you, Monica Leiby Millstead, for allowing us to use Portrait.

MMS Patches' Ultimate Image
Fallen Ash Farm's Cricket's Image X Feather Ridge's Patches

Ultra is an M&MS Farms bred. 30.25" black and white, DNA Parentage Qualified stallion, foaled on 4-11-96. He loves to drive, with style and enjoyment, proving his greatest inheritance from his parents: level headedness and marvelous extension at the trot. We're hoping he'll continue passing these qualities on to his get who include: MMS First Kiss (now adored by Dr. Bonnie Searles of Sheridan, Michigan), MMS Ultimate Destiny Calls (now part of M&MS Farms' broodmare band), MMS Keeper Of The Starz (now part of Ryka Miniatures in Ann Arbor, Michigan), MMS Ultimately Moriah (who's Norma Feutz's favorite in Fife Lake, Michigan), and MMS Almost Ultra Magic (also adored by Dr. Bonnie Searles). Ultra's sire, Cricket's Image, received 1994 AMHA National Top Ten Senior Stallion accolades before relocating to Australia. His dam is our most beloved first miniature mare and very first nationally titled horse, Patches. Patches, of course, holds numerous championships in halter and in driving, including a 1990 AMHA National Top Ten in Mares to Drive -- an honor achieved when she was just two years old! Thank you, Sue Westbrook of Hands To Inches Miniatures in Gonzales, Louisiana, for selecting Ultra!

Winners' Circle BZ Bellagio
Boone's Little Buckeroo 2nd X Spice Of Life Saffron

I guess you could say Bellagio is an M&MS Farms "reference sire by default". When we purchased Winners' Circle Prima Donna from Winners' Circle Ranch, Prima was reported in foal to one of our most favorite stallions of all time: Winners' Circle Adonis. Prima delivered her son. And we proceeded to register the foal, complete with DNA Parentage Qualification, of course. Nothing special here. We take that step with virtually all babies born at M&MS Farms. But... that's where "routine" ended. The AMHA Registry Department called to tell me Adonis was definitely not the colt's sire. With Registry staff and Barb Norman's help, we solved the "who's my daddy" mystery. Prima's very first foal is the son of Winners' Circle BZ Bellagio (by Boone's Little Buckeroo 2nd X Spice Of Life Saffron). Obviously, somehow/someway, Prima sneaked her own "visitations" with Bellagio, while she was being hand bred to Adonis! Be it by default or not, M&MS Farms is fortunate to have one of Bellagio's two American get, and his only American born son. That special colt is MMS Prima BZ Deal Me In. Dealer is available for purchase. Winners' Circle Bellagio now lives in Switzerland.

Rivers Edge Black Velvet's Snowfire
Little King's Black Velvet by Boone's Little Buckeroo X Winners' Circle Pandora out of Spice of Life Sassafrass

This exquisite, cremello, 33.25" stallion with two blue eyes has motion to burn, a splendid personality, and a pedigree to die for. Snowfire is a son of Black Velvet and Pandora, which makes him a grandson of Buckeroo, Red Velvet, and Sassafrass. It just doesn't get any better than that! Thank you, so very much, Judy and Reuel Long of Ryka Miniatures in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for allowing two of M&MS Farms' very best mares, Wishes and Dream Come True to "visit" with Snowfire. The May 2009 foals we're expecting are certain to be absolutely fabulous!
